New Season, New Plans.

Okay so this past Easter I had a wake up call. I told myself that this year I'm going full force to pursuing my dreams. Well....If you wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans.

He definitely woke me up and opened my eyes to some things. But the two things he definitely made clear to me were, 1. Seek Him first before you do ANYTHING. Because without God, it will fail. And 2. What he says goes. Do what he says or else. Haha. I don't mean to scare you guys or anything but its the truth. So after a week of thinking and praying and asking him to show me what it is He wants me to do, I've had a change in plans... (Ugh i'd never thought i'd say this, but) I'm going back to school. I'm going for secondary education to become a high school history teacher.

Why high school? I get along with teenagers. (I might do Jr High but more then likely I'm gonna do High School)

Why history? I love it and I know alot about it. (I'm not good at math so....yea)

Why teaching? Because I love people and I love to help people out and make them feel special.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm still going to pursue my dreams of modeling and entertainment. Thats in my heart to do. :)

Baby Shower Planning: The Basics

As I revealed to you all this past Thursday, I am expecting a baby girl in December. As with any other big life changing moment, there is a lot of planning going into things. I'm planning a baby budget, planning doctors visits and scheduling them around other things I have to do with work and school, planning when things need to be done by, and most of all planning a much needed baby shower. For every parent I think a baby shower is necessary. Especially for a single parent like me. A baby shower gives some time for family members and friends to get together and celebrate the fact that you have a new addition coming soon. Whether its your first child or fifth child, you choose a baby shower that fits your needs. This is my first baby. So there are many reasons behind my shower. Gabriella is 4 months old!

My big girl is 4 months today!!! I feel like crying. As a matter of fact I did. Lol. I can't believe that I'm already "looking back" at her old pictures and videos from when she was a newborn. Now she is just growing by the minute and I thought I was prepared for these moments but it looks like I'm not. I'm already starting to think of her 1st birthday lol. Can't tell the thoughts and ideas of those yet :P This week is an exciting week. Since Gabriella is now 4 months old, she has to get her second round of immunizations. So this Friday we are going to the doctor. And then Saturday we are getting ready to develop her next milestones... starting rice cereal and crawling. :) We're going to take a trip to Babies R Us and buy her a highchair and some baby jumpers and walkers! I'm strangely excited for this new stage in both of our lives. She's become more aware and used to how her new world works. No more swaddling! Sorry I haven't been...

My Last Month of High School! :(

I can't believe that starting Wednesday, it will be my last month of high school. It feels like not too long ago I was in the 4th grade imagining my high school senior year. Now it has finally come to reality. With a few exceptions and changes to that reality lol. I didn't know that I would be going to an arts school, and I definitely never expected to be a high school mom. But all those unexpected things are what makes my life better than expected :) In this final month, there will be so many activities we will be doing so keep checking back later!
