Happy Autumn! 20 Weeks Pregnant (Halfway Done!) and Making Room!

Happy Autumn! The season is finally changing! As I get older, I tend to despise summer more lol which is weird. Maybe because I'm beginning to hate the heat or it could just be a Texas thing. Who knows. Of course the only downfall of the seasons changing for me is that I have really bad allergies when it does happen. No matter what season, I always get attacked with allergies for about 2-3 weeks. Haha yes, it sucks. But Autumn/Fall is my favorite season for many reasons. One is because it marks the start of the holiday season with Halloween, State Fair of Texas starts (the best EVA!), the beauty of orange and red leaves is just breathtaking, not to mention the perfect cool weather, football season, sweater weather, and most importantly, My Birthday is in October! So happy fall ya'll! ;) Today is a big and happy step in my pregnancy...I'M HALFWAY DONE!!!!! 20 Weeks Today! Baby is the size of a banana. His flutters are definitely kicks now. And it just got a little h...

It's A Boy!!!

It's A Boy!!!!!!!! Finding Out: The Suspense Was Real! Since we could not find out what baby was at my last doctors appointment, and the nurses told me that it would have to be at my next appointment which is A MONTH AWAY (October 28th to be exact ;D), I said... Oh noooooooo! I just didn't get excited for nothing and definitely not to wait another month to see the gender of my baby! So Leland, baby boy's daddy, was kind enough to agree to going to an independent sonogram place to see the gender of our baby. We went to Stork Vision in Garland which also offers 3D sonos and heartbeat CD's and etc. Of course it all costs extra but I just wanted to see the gender of my baby. The entire time there I was so excited but nervous. My family doesn't necessarily have the best of luck when it comes to "a mix of genders" when someone gets pregnant. We all have girls. Haha. So all I could think of was, "What if it's a girl even though I feel like it...

18 Weeks Pregnant and Searching for a New Place!

I am almost halfway there! I am 18 weeks pregnant! My baby is now the size of a sweet potato and no.......I still don't know what the gender is yet! :( But have no fear. TOMORROW, I am going to Stork Vision in Garland, a 3D Sonogram place just to see the gender. I'm more than excited. :D I really can't believe that I am almost halfway done with pregnancy. I can tell little man/girl is growing in there because not only am I having serious back pains and headaches, but I am having the strangest and dirtiest dreams ever. My boobs have also grown...like 2 sizes. I went from 32C to 32DD (34D if I really want to be comfortable). Not to mention they're hard as rocks and feel more like melons than boobies. If this is what fake boobs feel like, I am so glad I changed my mind about possibly getting them.  I am also starting not to fit into my pants any more. Time for Maternity Clothes! February will be here before I know it. 18 Weeks! (Excuse my fat arm) I was just re...

My Little Sister is a High Schooler, Happy Birthday Granny, and I'm 17 Weeks Preggo!

I used to hear all the time about how the older we get, the faster time just flies by. It seems like just yesterday I gave birth to Gabriella. That was almost 3 years ago! It seems like yesterday I was 14 years old entering high school as a wide eyed Freshman. That was 5 years ago! And over 14 years ago, I became a big sister. Jeeeeeeez I feel so old. Lol. Last week, I just experienced my little sister Amber becoming a high schooler. I tried not to imagine this day when I was younger haha. I just couldn't. But my little MooMoo is in high school. I'm so proud of her because I can see how much smarter she is than I was in high school. It used to take a village to tell me to do homework before I would actually do it. Lol. Not proud of it now of course. Amber is also the best volleyball player I know. She loves her sport and I just know it will eventually get her scholarships to her favorite colleges. How do I know? Well she's a Freshman who made the JV team (should have bee...

SURPRISE! I'm Pregnant With Baby #2!

Trying to keep this a secret all summer was very hard. I'll just start right there lol. With Gabriella, I wasn't THIS sick and I wasn't in my first trimester during the summer. And if you know anything about pregnancy or have been pregnant before, you know the first trimester is the worst part of pregnancy. Morning sickness, mood swings, bloating, fatigue, sore boobs and an aching back, all rev up to 500% in dry Texas heat. If you follow me on social media, I'm sure you've noticed I barely did anything this summer, let alone take a selfie, because I really had zero energy and was sick to my stomach.    SOOOO now that you know why I've been so anti-social, back to the good news at hand... I'm Pregnant, AGAIN! Lol. I can definitely say that this pregnancy is already so different from when I was pregnant with Gabby. I guess you can say I was lucky with her.    Now I will be very honest with you guys... I'm still a single mother. Will this be harde...

Mother's Day 2015!

Hello and Happy Mother's Day Everyone! I hope you all had a great Mother's Day and gave thanks to the strong women that raised you. Well as for me, this was a pretty chill Mother's Day this year. Our's started the Saturday before actual Mother's Day. We, my sisters and I, wanted to take our mom out early because we just knew that Sunday's restaurants would be PACKED! So we took mommy out for some Sushi! I wanted to try something different instead of the traditional Pappadeaux, Olive Garden, Red Lobster and such. I was so happy because my mom was happy. And that's all that mattered. And I'm also proud of myself for turning my mom and little sister into sushi lovers! Instead of them getting the traditional and safe California Roll, I convinced them t try the tempura roll (and incase you want to know, Vegas Roll or anything similar to it is the best!!!). In all, it was a great night for my mom. Since you all know now, this was my first Mother...

Cinco De Mayo at Ojos Locos!

Just giving you all a little run down on our Cinco de Mayo dress up week at my lovely job. ;-*   As you may know, I DO NOT work Saturdays or Sundays. But due to the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight this past weekend, I had to work to fit the night girl's schedules.     So my day 1 dress up was on a Saturday. The phones were ringing off the hook with people still trying to reserve tables for that night's fight and not to mention, us chicas had to help get everything else set up and ready. So I only had time to take a quick little cute selfie. :)   Day 2 was on a Monday. I was still kinda drained from the weekend but managed to still look the part.   And Day 3 (the final day) on a Tuesday was my favorite (and everyone else's). And you see why? Lol! They all wanted some Hot Tamales ;P I always order my costumes for dress up days and I usually save it for the last day of dress up week. Best for last :) Everyon...
