The Birth Story of Dylan Alexander

Lelo Alexander was born into this world on Friday, January 29th at 12:35am. And this is his birth story :) So i'll start it off with Tuesday January 26th at my check up with my doctor. I was hoping and wishing and praying that I would hear some good news such as he is dilated or at least showing signs of readiness. Well, I got what I wished for! She checked my cervix out and said that he had dilated 1 cm. I knew that meant that he is coming soon! She went on to tell me that if he didn't come by February 2nd, she would sweep my membranes to partially induce me and get labor started. I remember what it was like with Gabby. I was over-anxiously waiting and doing everything I could to possibly induce my labor but then as soon as I gave up on trying, she came on her own. I knew better this time lol. I knew that I wanted him to choose his own birthday and I would just (somewhat) enjoy my last days of pregnancy.   What I experienced this time with baby#2, is probabl...

Final Trimester! Welcome to the Home Stretch...

I have officially reached the last 3 months of my pregnancy! Yaaaaaay! Baby boy is now the size of an eggplant. I have weighed myself at different places, and i'm actually not sure which one is correct. At the spa, I'm 139....... at my mom's house using her scale, I'm 129..... hopefully I'm 129. Lol. My next doctor's appointment is Tuesday so i'll see how much I REALLY weigh. It scares me because if I really am 139 pounds, that mean's he's going to be huge because I was 139 pounds when I gave birth to Gabby. Speaking of doctor's appointments, I am now going every 2 weeks. Which is good for me because I really have alot of questions now. This pregnancy is so different from my first and I am having so many different symptoms. I am soooo tired of eating. I know that is strange to say coming from a pregnant girl but it's like I'm ALWAYS hungry and I'm ALWAYS  eating. Lol. I'm just really tired of stuffing my face. It doesn't f...

26 Weeks Pregnant!

Not much going on this week but the fact that this is my last week in my 2nd Trimester! I am now 26 weeks pregnant :) Baby boy is the size of a head of lettuce and based on the last doctors visit this past Tuesday, he is already 1 pound. My weight gain is actually being monitored right now. They say you always gain more weight with your second baby but I was 139 at delivery time with Gabby and I am already 132. I haven't even hit the third trimester yet haha. So now my new focus is trying to 1) Gain a pound every other week for the next 12-13 weeks. 2) Start eating more healthy and less junk food. So more water of course. 3) I am doing light workouts. Not as strenuous as they were with Gabby because I passed out twice. Oops. lol. My heartburn pain has also kicked in so it's best that I stay as far away from the grease as much as possible right now. Ouch!!!!! Ugh!!!! By the way, I hate Tums and Rolaids. Most disgusting taste in the world. I HAVE TO find a better remedy. 2...

I Know I'm Late!!!

25 Weeks Preggo! My 21st Birthday! Happy Halloween! I never meant for these posts to be combined but I have been so busy and so tired to do ANYTHING right now. I finally found the energy to blog... a week later. Lol I am now 25 weeks preggo. Baby boy is as big as a cauliflower. I just recently went to the doctor yesterday but I will tell you all how that went in my next post. I'm keeping all the goods on my pregnancy for next post. 25 Weeks <3 Last week was my 21st birthday! Exciting but at the same time... I'm pregnant and can't celebrate the traditional way by getting so wasted that I can't walk anymore. But that's okay. I found a way to still make it special by going to TX Spa Castle with my bestie Armoni. I swear it was the best spa I have ever been to. So many pools, so many Jacuzzis, so many saunas (that of course I couldn't go into, but I did peek.), and a juice bar, a sushi bar, tv's and private rooms to get specials treatments. Me and Ar...

I'm 24 Weeks Pregnant and Turning 21 Years Old!!!

Two more weeks and then i'll be in my third trimester with just 3 more months to go. This is crazy! Time is just flying by (which is a good thing but still, give me some time! Lol). I am now 24 weeks pregnant. Baby boy is the size of a cantaloupe and one thing he will not have to worry about when he arrives is mommy running out of breastmilk because these babies are already full of it. My breasts feel like they are full of milk, and my nipples are so sore and sensitive that I feel as if they are about to fall off. Wuah! They feel so much more worse than when I was pregnant with Gabby. I think I might have to invest in nipple butter early on before I give birth because my girls are in pain! TMI? Oh well. Welcome to my blog. :D Aside from my aching cow udders, my back, as usual, is killing me and just recently, I pulled something in my knee. I've always read that a pregnant womans ligaments, muscles, and tendons change to accommodate labor. Well my quadricept ligament was pull...

Soo Busy! (Update on 22 and 23 Weeks Preggo)

These past two weeks have been just super busy for me. I haven't had time to blog at all. I've been getting home, having to cook and get Gabby ready for bath and bed time, and by the the time she falls asleep, I get ready for bed and knock right out. Lol. It's so much going on and as each day passes by, I look up and I realize that I only have like 3 months left until baby boy gets here. This year is just speeding by. Last week, on October 11th was one of my good friends, Chelsea's (better known as Veggie) birthday! So I first want to give a big birthday shout out to her. I miss her because she is going to school full time as well just like Gurley is and we don't get to see each other often either. The state fair of Texas finally hit town and me and Gabby were blessed to go this year. It was her first time and my first time back in 9 years since I usually go to Louisiana state fair because it's cheaper. But I am still a bit upset because I didn't have tim...

My First Week at the New Job; 21 Weeks Pregnant; Big Plans Coming Soon!

I have officially finished my first week of a new job! :D Still so happy that I actually got hired after months of being without a job and I just praise God for it because it is exactly what I needed. Yay! Well my first week of training went pretty well. So far it's not too intense like what everyone was saying it was going to be but of course I have a bad habit of speaking to soon haha so we'll see how the next 2 weeks play out as well. But so far I am still learning alot on how the operating systems and the company works. The systems I will be working with are relatively easy to manage once I get more practice with them. It's the customers concerns that worry me the most because we all know how customer service can be. The company itself is so perfect in my opinion. I really can see myself here for some time while I work towards my degree. Awesome pay. Awesome benefits. And I think the best part is that I get flight benefits! :D Me and my kids are definitely gonna take ...
