Gabriella is 6 Months! (1/2 Birthday)

I cannot believe it!!!!!!
My baby girl is already halfway there! She is 6 months! This can't be happening!
This time last year I was pregnant and eating everything in the kitchen and complaining how hot it was. And it seems like just yesterday I was on here blogging about how I couldn't wait to see her and how swollen my feet were. Time goes by so fast. I still can't believe how fast she is growing :'(
Happy 6 months Gabriella! Oh yea and happy half birthday my sweet girl! Haha ;)

Speaking of half birthday...
It's time for me to start thinking about her first birthday party! You guys know I'm too festive for my own good. Lol.
I definitely have some great ideas in mind. I was thinking maybe a circus theme! ;)

You'll just have to wait and see what comes out of my sleeve ;)

Graduation!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe it happened. I'm done.Officially done.

My day started off with rehearsal. I have no idea why they would do something so stupid as to put the rehearsal on the day of -__- But hey that's my school for you. We were so excited that it was finally happening. This is it. Like Michael Jackson, this is it. After today our lives will never be the same.

My aunt Ashley was crying the entire time while I was getting ready. She has seen me grow up and has been there since I was born. So of course this was an emotional time for her. Unfortunately due to the stupidity of my school having our rehearsal 3 hours before, I was rushed and my entire pre-graduation vision was ruined. -___- Dummies. Lol oh well. We all rushed to get ready and I passed out everyone their tickets so they could get in. We sped back to downtown Dallas which was a good 30 mins away and we laughed at how ridiculous schools were making a big deal out of everyone MUST have a ticket to get in. The entire ride there was full of laughs. When they dropped me off, the place was already packed and which meant I was already late. I reminded my family of where I would be seated and told them try to find a parking spot if they can and then I rushed inside to find my class. When I got there, I went down the stairs to where they told us to meet. And there they were. My classmates. It looked as though we were getting ready for some type of show. Which is how we always looked lol.

Omg. This is our last "show" together...

I saw all of my friends and we were all nervous as hell! Lol but we sure did look good. ;) Our excitement and nerves held back our tears as we were ready for our final show together. Before we knew it, it was time to line up to get ready to enter into the auditorium where we would be graduating. It all just seemed too quick. As we were lined up, I couldn't help but look back at everyone because even though I sometimes wanted to kill these people, they were my family when I needed them to be. And that's all that matters. The music started and we walked in.

I think to all of us it felt like a really big production. Our last performance together.

We sat there and heard all the speeches, some sounded very theatrical and some from the heart, and we watched what every cluster had to show for our last hooray and our progress over the last 4 years.

And then... it was time to line up for our walk across that stage. We walked down to the stage and were all so nervous. We waited for Ms. Rietz to finish her speech...and a very scary yet omg silent pause came across the entire room... Then she said the first name of the first student to get their diploma..."Ramian Ackerman"....and I think by then we all shat bricks because we all got squirmy and said "omg, omg, omg!" Lol

The rest is an experience that I will never forget. After we all got our diplomas, we went back to our seats and just basked in the moment that we were ALUMNI now. We were done! We yelled and screamed and some cried. Our excitement followed us all the way outside and we chanted and cheered and yelled sooooo much. It was good energy that night.

I was the 7th person to graduate. I seriously didn't know what to do. I have no idea where my mind went but it was like I was walking in an illusion. After it was handed to me, I felt as if I had been released from everything and I was finally on my own.

Finally free!

Baccalaureate

Most students don't care too much for Baccalaureate only because not all are really and truly about religion. To me, Baccalaureate is about people coming to speak to high school students about life and how to succeed, which is kinda pointless because we've been hearing that for 12 years throughout our entire school life, and its a chance for family members who cannot attend graduation get to see you in your cap and gown. But I still honored the moment and took it seriously.
Though I was a so late, that I almost missed the entrance, I was sweaty, hair was puffed, and my heels were about to break, I ran to Armoni who had already saved a spot for me in line ;) I love my friend.
Our speaker was a Jewish man who is also a radio host in New York City. He told us great personal stories and left us with some awesome advice... Don't be a dick! The speeches seemed long but it really went by fast. After it was all over, we preceded into the reception area where we had nachos and dessert. So many of us took pictures with our families and of course I took pictures with my family and my baby girl :)

After we left, we went out to eat at Olive Garden. Claud's cousin graduated that day so they of course had a party. I went with him and we had fun as usual. :)

Graduation coming soon!
